Kebab Marinades

Makes 6-8 skewers each recipe

Ingredients

  • Honey Garlic Chicken

    • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

    • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil

    • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

    • 1 tsp Ginger, minced

    • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce

    • 3 tbsp Honey

  • Middle-Eastern Marinade

    • 1/2 cup Greek Yoghurt

    • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    • 1 tsp Paprika, ground

    • 1/4 tsp Cumin, ground

    • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

    • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

    • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

After choosing your marinade:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until combined.

  2. Coat your meat, tofu or halloumi with 3/4 of the marinade and refrigerate for at least 3-hours.

  3. Thread meat/tofu/halloumi onto skewers and cook on a grill until chicken is cooked through.

    Tip: You can add vegetables to the skewers, including red onion, capsicum or zucchini.
